Mottainai amulets are cosmic charms. Referencing omamori, the Shinto tradition of giving blessings, this amulet aspires to adorn a space with good luck and protection. This charm is assembled from wood, brass and ceramic objects. The varying materials and shapes have different tonalities and dance together according to the winds.

Experimental in nature, each amulet’s chimes vary–some louder than others, some glisten quietly.
