Shipping Policy
Thank you for supporting Atelier Mottainai. Each handmade piece is carefully prepared and packaged to ensure it arrives safely.
Processing Times: Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days of purchase. Please note that some made-to-order or custom works may require additional production time. If an item requires an extended processing period, this will be noted in the product description or communicated directly to you.
Shipping Rates
Within Canada
- Small Package – $20 CAD
- Medium Package – $30 CAD
- Large / Heavy Package – $40 CAD
International Shipping
- Small Package – $40 CAD
- Medium Package – $45 CAD
- Large / Heavy Package – $50 CAD
Shipping rates are calculated according to the size, weight, and destination of your order.
Local Pickup: Local pickup is available free of charge at the Atelier Mottainai Studio in Toronto, Ontario.
Customers selecting local pickup will receive an email when their order is ready, along with pickup instructions and scheduling information.
Delivery Estimates: Delivery times vary depending on destination, carrier, weather conditions, and other factors outside our control. Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
International Orders: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges that may be incurred when shipping outside Canada. These fees are determined by the destination country and are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs.
Tracking:Tracking information will be provided when available. Some shipping services may not include tracking for all destinations.
Lost or Delayed Packages: Once an order has been shipped, Atelier Mottainai is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery issues caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer. If a shipment is delayed or missing, we will do our best to assist you in contacting the carrier and locating the package.
Damaged Shipments: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label. We will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate resolution.
